We chose Burlwood and Lye to reflect the two sides of what we do.
Burlwood.
[burl-wood] noun.
Burlwood brings to mind the natural beauty and complexity of wood.
Lye.
[lahy] noun.
Lye nods to the craft and process behind the finish.
It’s a name rooted in materiality, creativity, and a deep respect for the details – the foundation of everything we do.
